Sit indoors by the fire, or out in our covered garden whatever the weather. We've added a collection of new cakes from our in-house bakery — black forest gateau and a white chocolate & raspberry tart among them — and our Afternoon Tea runs every day from 3pm.
For something more private, six pastel garden chalets sit alongside the covered garden — perfect for small celebrations or family gatherings. Kids have their own play park beside the garden, and dogs are welcome outside and in the chalets, with a dog menu of their own.
Our deli counter is where we quietly do some of our best work — proper pies, fresh-baked rolls, and a cheese counter we're proud of.
Hot filled rolls with local butcher sausage and MacSween's haggis. Toasties, ciabattas, and freshly made sandwiches in the fridge. Pies and sausage rolls baked that morning. Alongside, a cheese counter with Isle of Mull cheddar, Connage Clava Brie, and Hebridean Blue, to name a few.
Restaurant, shop, deli & takeaway, whisky & gin, highland cows, kids' play park, fuel and EV — all in one visit.
Local Perthshire produce throughout, a large car park, and everything right here in one stop. Coaches are warmly welcomed (pre-booking required).
Find our Highland cows grazing in the field behind the covered garden.
Flora and Blondie have been with us for years. In March we welcomed a new arrival — wee Mackenzie, born at the farm and brought home to join the herd. No need to book, no charge to visit — walk through the garden and they're right there. Bags of cow feed are available in the shop if you'd like to make the experience more memorable.
It's the wider team that makes us what we are — many of them have been with us for the long haul. You'll be served by someone who knows the menu inside out and knows the regulars by name.
Dogs are warmly welcome at our outdoor seating, in our covered garden chalets (heated, decorated and open year-round), and along our 300m nature walk by the river. They can't come into the restaurant itself — but plenty of space outside means there's still a warm welcome waiting for them.
A proper modern stop on the A9 — fuel that never closes, plus rapid EV chargers for the journey.
Whether you're heading north, south, or just passing — we're less than a minute off the A9 from either direction. Self-service diesel and petrol pumps are open round the clock, alongside eight EV charge points.
Local producers in store with tastings of new arrivals most weekends.
Cakes, scones, savouries and a proper pot of tea — fresh from our in-house bakery each morning.
View Menu →We have called in here on quite a few occasions and have always felt like we had actually started our holiday after the visit.
Far better than stopping at a service station. Great food, quick service, polite and friendly staff.
Friendly and bubbly greeting at the door — made us feel so welcome. Excellent lunch, very quick service.
Great food, lovely selection of gifts and clothing. Lots of choice in the food hall. We always stop off on our way north.
Every meal tasted excellent, especially the steak pie. We visited once on the way to our holiday — and went back just a few days later.
Since January we've been building a new glazed frontage, a much bigger deli, takeaway & food hall, and a refreshed shop layout inside.
The new deli will give us proper room for what we already do best — hot filled rolls, baguettes, sandwiches, sausage rolls, pies and quiche, all made in-house, alongside our cheese counter. The downtakings are complete and the steel frame is going up. Phase 1 — the new entrance and deli — opens Late Summer. The full build completes in Autumn. We're fully open throughout, so come and see it taking shape.
